depends on mood actually, but I'll go with suspense and action _________________ Either you are the black or the white

It's not on the list but I like martial arts. I like the old Chinese movies with awesome swordplay scenes. See Wong Kar Wai's Ashes of Time for more info. |

I voted for horror but my tastes run more to gore. More twisted the better.
Just can't explain why I like Harry Potter also. |

I like all movies, but I guess most of all is like the above, GORE!
Once my house is done, I'll start uploading some of my dvd collection to stage6 or veoh, I currently have a little over 300 horrors, a little over a 100 martial arts flicks and over 500 other random movies, I'm currently staying with my father and using his computer, with all my stuff in storage.
Bored as hell, I came across this site, I've never seen a better one, I've spent the last eight hours watching movies. Thanks all for the time and effort of hunting down these movies and sharing them with everyone, I love you all. Cheers! |

drama and in that i include Citizen Kane, The seven seal, Hannah's sisters, Bronenosets Potyomkin and Andrei Rublyev, Blue Velvet or eraserhead, Shichinin no samurai, Les enfants du Paradis, Cyrano de Bergerac, Terms of endearment, Highlander, even Cape fear wich i consider the most violent movie ever making it an horror movie i guess one thing is, they have to be in their original version
the french have always been the best film makers for me( i think they surround? the most the psychological aspect of their caracters)with that they got to have good actors you know?
but what about the japaneses so powerful movies and the list goes on...
i like a b-movie once in a while sometimes they come around with a good synopsis if not with a good direction and comedy is always on the fringe of the drama genre, so is swords and cape movies (?) thats all folks lol

i think there is only room for seven slots in these polls
i wonder if someone is gonna say that his favorite is documentary? maybe you could add masterpieces, genre noir/policier, and black and white if you don't have enough room cartoon should go with comedy, documentary with drama lol, and sci with /fi . went to imdb and found also westerns and musicals so there you are all set Kate the choice is yours
edited: i just had a flash Kate you have to add this to your list ''Cult Movies'' and by the way i willl make a topic on that subject...nextly
edited: catastroph movies
and there is also porno
so yes please add three more categories and if needed get rid of documentary or add it like i said to Drama lol _________________ S'il y a un amour pur et exempt du mélange de nos autres passions, c'est celui qui est caché au fond du coeur, et que nous ignorons nous-mêmes. La Rochefoucauld

| I like a good horror flick. Especially the underground ones. I think the best example is the August Underground trilogy... |
